Please help me to give my children a home of respect and dignity where there is enough happiness to raise the roof
Please help me give my children the best of myself and to cherish them on good days and bad, theirs and mine
Please help me to understand my children, to listen better and understand what they have to say
Please keep me optimistic, positive and inspiring towards them rather than resorting to doubt, shame, ridicule, punishment or other false mental and emotional patterns
Please help me to be non-judgmental and less critical of my children
Please help me to see and appreciate all the good things that they do
Please help me to treat my children as those of their own age, and to always remember I am their trustworthy guide, mentor, coach and parent rather than trying to be their peer
Please help me to accept when they are angry, hateful, bitter, resentful or disagreeable towards me and to love them unconditionally
Please help me to guide my children with every opportunity to serve others and to honorably wait upon themselves
Please help me to accept them for who they are and to support their unique goals and highest dreams
Please help me to lead them by example; to be true to themselves, love themselves, and be responsible for themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually
Please help me to lead them by example to identify with and be connected to their higher self, and to have the faith to believe in a power much greater than their own
